The Whitton Couple at Detesk

By a stroke of luck, one of the most popular contemporary Czech authors, Mrs. Hana Whitton, has become one of our distinguished friends. She married the Englishman Paul Whitton in 2001, and since then, the couple has lived near Oxford.

The Whittons visit the Czech Republic several times a year, regularly as guests of the book fair in the spring. We are incredibly pleased that, amidst several days spent in Prague filled with numerous official events, book signings, interviews for print media, radio, and television, Paul and Hana set aside a whole day, just as they did last year, to visit our company. During their visit, they also had a conversation with the 4th-grade students of the Železný Brod Primary School on Školní Street.

When saying goodbye, both Hana and Paul assured us that they are genuinely looking forward to our next meeting.
