On Tuesday, 8th of April, an exceptional event took place at the club na Poříčí, organized by Detesk in cooperation with the fashion boutique STYL 2.0 from Turnov. Visitors enjoyed an evening that creatively combined a fashion show, glass art and a tasting of high-quality French and Italian wines. A very pleasant highlight of the program was a performance by Ondřej Glogar, a specialist in historical musical instruments, who played a unique glass instrument called Karnyx – a modern version of the Celtic instrument with roots dating to pre-Christian times. While the original instruments were made of bronze or copper, this exceptional glass version was created only recently thanks to the collaboration of experts from the music world, the glassmaking school in Železný Brod, and the Detesk company. The evidence of the event´s success lies not only in the positive feedback from over 150 guests, but also in the fact that a few attendees couldn´t get tickets in time. As a result, the organisers are considering repeating the event, probably during one of the autumn dates.
